Our next Bible Study in the gospel of John commences on Sunday 29 April. It is entitled ‘The Master Servant’ and the passage is John 13:1-20: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=john%2013:1-20&version=NIV Do you prefer being the lord and master or the servant? Although Jesus was Lord, he chose the way of a servant. If we want to be followers of Jesus, we too, must willingly serve. Last SUNDAY 22/4 we heard a powerful message on Jesus confronting death. If you would like to hear it (or hear it again) you can download and/or listen to this message (or past messages) at http://www.lpuc.org.au/downloads Best wishes to Joyce who celebrated her birthday recently. Best wishes to Simon, Taylor, Dianne and Alan who celebrate their birthdays this week. Thomas had not been with the disciples when Jesus appeared to them. Thomas said he would not personally believe until he had physical proof. Eight days later Jesus appeared to the whole group and invited Thomas to put his finger into the scars in Jesus’ hands and side. Jesus’ conversation with Thomas and the purpose of the gospel of John can be read here: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=john%2020:24-31&version=NIV Are you interested in reading (or listening) to the Bible via the internet?
